It’s goal check up time

2015-2Bgoals-2Bred-2B4.Yep it’s Goal check up time

How are you getting on with your goals? Are they moving slowly or have you given up on them? I know it’s easy to give up on them when the first stone wall suddenly pops up out of thin air. Mountains grow on your pathway to your goals and make them vanish in the fog.

So Dears, I believe it’s time to put down that dish cloth put on your cape and turn 3 times and transform ourselves into Superwoman goal accomplishers !!! (I know, I know it was wonder woman who did the spinning. I just love the picture in my head)

It’s never too late

Let’s go back and take a look at the goals we wrote down at the beginning of the year. You did write them down didn’t you? If not, don’t worry. You can start any time you want to, it’s never too late to write down your goals. There is no rule that says you can only start at the beginning of the year.

After we have taken a look at our goals, it’s time to review them. Have your feelings about the one or other goal changed? Have you accomplished some of them already? If you have YAY well done, have yourself a party. Invite other Superhero’s and celebrate with them.

Setting goals is a habit and habits need to grow on you.

I remember my first time writing them down. It was the book The Secret where I had read about them and thought it was a good idea. It wasn’t easy trying to find goals that I wanted to accomplish. Then I sat back and waited for them to happen.

I would be still waiting for them to happen if it wasn’t for Jack Canfield’s book “The Success Principles” which showed me how it was done. He tells us to,

  • Write down your goals.
  • Pick a goal.
  • Break it up into do-able little goals.
  • Add them to your to-do list.
  • Then add them to your planner so they get done

But the trick is still, to do them and not wait for things to happen.

Master Mind Group

Now it was in 2014 where I found out that having an accountability partner is what makes goals become reality. I had joined the Jack Canfield Coaching program and was then put into a group of 6 strangers. Every week we get together over Skype and have our master mind meeting. There we talk about what is good and new. What we were able to do the past week and where we had challenges. We offer each other advice, or get to see things in a different light. We keep each other up to date on our set goals, our break through goal. And the most important thing is we celebrate our wins together.

Remember

It’s never to late to start writing down your goals and breaking them up and adding them to your to-do list.

You can change your goal if you feel you have out grown it or it’s not the right fit anymore. But don’t change it if you have hit a wall. Find a way around that wall or climb over it. We grow to be a stronger person with every mountain we climb. With new skills learnt along the way.

Find yourself an accountability partner or a master mind group.

Don’t wait for things to happen, you have to make them happen.

Need an accountability partner?

How about finding yourself a friend who would like to help you stick to your goal. If you would like to be in a group then leave a comment below or send me an email at williamssue@hotmail.de , let’s see if we can find you a group with other goal setting friends.
